Hi, I'm Amanda, the photographer behind She Photographs Nature.
I'm a nature and wildlife photographer originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My inspiration comes from colorful mornings, changing seasons, and the quiet patience of photographing wildlife on their own terms.
After more than 20 years working in zoological animal care, I learned to see wildlife with respect first and an appreciation for the small details that many people miss. Every photograph I create is captured during my travels and transformed into handcrafted artwork designed to bring a little more nature into your everyday life.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me kayaking, hiking, traveling, or exploring somewhere outdoors. I hope my work inspires you to slow down, look a little closer, and reconnect with the beauty of the natural world.
